Packing and Travelling- London- Winter Edition

The DLR in London

I have quite a busy month of December and a very important thing for me is my trip to London. Knowing that I'm not able to over-pack and that I have to go through airport security I chose to pack wisely. Here is how I did it:

Essentials:
this is more of a must list of things you need when travelling

  • Passport- I know that if you're from the EU and going to the UK you might be able to pass with your ID only but again, passports still exist for a reason so you might want to have one with you
  • Telephone and Carriers: You need to speak to people home so you take your phone with you. Ok, just be sure to check what carriers there are in the respective country as I suppose you don't want a few hundred dollars worth of telephone bills. Also, make sure you have an adapter.

Time and everything else in between

Life has been quite hectic lately.
Exam after exam and revision after revision. Thus, it was hard enough trying to fit a little time for myself only into my schedule; and coffee and tea were like fuel.

A morning ritual: tea, music and books

In Cambridge, My happy place

A calm morning is perfect. A morning when you take your time and enjoy the very first moments of the new day, the part when you may do what relaxes you and the part when you remind yourself that everything is going to be better.

You wake up, that is because of the alarm or because of the sun shining through the curtains, and you sit and think of the day ahead. You may smile as the cat is right beside you and still has sleep on his long whiskers, a fact you are sure of thanks to his deep purrs as well as

Sick-a winter routine?

I managed to catch some kind of a cold these days-did not plan to.And now I have to endure and embrace my full recovery in a day routine-I don't even know if it's working but I hope I'll be able to go out tomorrow.Catching a cold is one of those things I remember to be awful only when I have it.I guess I'm not the only one enjoying the holidays with a sore throat so I thought
