I managed to catch some kind of a cold these days-did not plan to.And now I have to endure and embrace my full recovery in a day routine-I don't even know if it's working but I hope I'll be able to go out tomorrow.Catching a cold is one of those things I remember to be awful only when I have it.I guess I'm not the only one enjoying the holidays with a sore throat so I thought
I'd share what I do to make my day a little bit better.

Sleep well:I may not be the best example here.I can hardly sleep during the day and staying in bed sometimes makes me feel worse so I try to go to sleep early knowing that I'll try to be at least a little productive when I wake up.
Eat and drink:tea mostly.I love tea ,the only thing I do now is eat fresh lemon slices with it.A lot of soup is also a good choice,lots of fluids.I eat a lot of chocolate now...I don't know if it actually helps with being sick so I might have to read a little on that before I make any statements.It's also a good time for me to have what some people describe as liquid sugar:a white mocha while the red cups are still here.
Relax:as much as I know I'm going to try to follow my original plan I also need to take it slower than usual.Watch a movie(as we are getting more into the holiday spirit maybe Home Alone or How The Grinch Stole Christmas-classics) or read your favorite book.
The other routine:if I have to take any meds I do.Then I also moisturize so that my face doesn't end up resembling a desert.I play with the cat as much as possible because come on,the little ball of fur makes the day a lot better.
If I go out:sometimes I can't just stay in bed all day,I have to do things,go out,study etc.If I go out I make sure that I'm always wearing a hat and warm scarf with a good winter coat.Knits are my favorite.
The basics have been shared.This was a short post as I'm very busy at the moment and as I've mentioned above,sick.I hope I'll be able to write more in the future.
